Give it a try and you most likely wont regret it. Linux has come a long way since the general statement what you want game on it. I purchased a Asus ROG laptop about a year ago and installed Manjaro Linux on it (spare the hate) and its been working flawlessly. With that said. I'm not a hard core gamer and been sticking to Steam and console emulation so others with more time to play games should flank in.

Det har som sagt fått väldigt mycket mer stöd på det senare åren.

Personligen så fegade jag lite när jag köpte min gaming laptop (har inte plats för annat) och valde AMD GPU med anledning att AMD tillhandahåller en vettig drivrutin i kärnan. Har fungerat utan några problem med både Steam och emulatorer.

Nvidia har också gjort framsteg med deras drivrutin men det är inte alls samma sak än. Hade ett 1070 Ti Turbo för några år sen och även om det fungerade med Linux så var det rätt mycket bös.

It's true that Lemmy doesn't have the same magnitude of content as Reddit but I'm trying to cut down on the doom scrolling so it's a good thing for me personally.

Aldrig kört OpenSUSE om jag ska vara ärlig men hört att det ska vara väldigt bra. Vilken version av kärnan kör de med? Uppdateras den med jämna mellanrum ?
