I love dogs, but everything the police use to do their jobs are tools of fascism. Airport security has never actually caught a bomb or a terrorist, it's literally just theatre.

fun fact, "commas" does not require an apostrophe

Making dogs be cops is so absolutely fucked. I get that there are working breeds but last time I checked there weren’t any breeds predisposed to fascism

Edit: other than Dobermans obviously

I mean when it works that perfectly, why not

The last year before the IPO he paid himself 200 million, same as the google CEO that year

Edit: it was the last year he could get away with it, I mean

https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/WP/Issues/2023/08/22/IMF-Fossil-Fuel-Subsidies-Data-2023-Update-537281

According to this 3 year old data set, US direct and indirect subsidies for the Oil and Gas industry ALONE account for ~750 billion per year.

Agricultural subsidies add another $30 billion per year.

Wal-Mart, just a single company, benefits from around 7.5 billion per year in public spending.

The US government literally hands our tax revenue DIRECTLY to the rich. And then says we have no money for SNAP. Like stop giving Lockheed and General Dynamics and BAE and Raytheon a trillion dollars a year. The US government is a machine for taking money from working people and handing it to the rich, just like pretty much every other aspect of society at this point.

Isn’t there a Berkshire index fund? They’re a public company and their positions are all public

Is this Buffet’s personal portfolio?

Australia and China are basically neighbors, makes sense. Australia might be a “western” nation but they’re literally half a world away from EU GB and USA/CAN

Are they white? Do they have an aversion to non-white people? Do they make enough money to materially benefit from the Trump era tax policies? Yes to any 2 and you’ve got an answer, no to all 3 and I’m as stumped as you are.

Billionaires, and the corporations they own, cost the taxpayer exponentially more than the people who rely on SNAP for food security. The tax breaks, subsidies and government contracts that many large corporations benefit from are a HUGE cost, I wonder if anyone has ever added them all up?

It will be interesting to the the intersection of white nationalism and support for Israel. The right really likes Bibi, cause he’s conservative; but it might be difficult to keep Israel’s partnership when the American right is allying with pretty vicious anti-semites
