FetLife is literally the biggest fucking cesspool of humanity on the internet. Its basically just a gateway for predators to find victims.
Source: Was active on it for years, tried to speak out against abusers in the scene, was told "we don't throw people away"
This is the best answer. Iirc it was actually printed in one of my HS English books, and is actually a short story.
Without more context hard to infer what it's trying to say, but I think basically, 12% of the population is left handed, but before 1950 we ignored them or forced them into being right handed?
I say forced, because my dad (born in the late 40s, hella boomer) is left handed by nature and he told me as a kid his mom used to take whatever he was holding in his left hand and moved it to his right so he became right handed. Ironically he broke his right hand when I was a tween breaking up a little league brawl and started using his left again, so now he's really ambidextrous.
My only regret is that I should have replaced Landlords with (not people) for 1-2 frames at the end 😅
He said the card company sided with DD. I guess at that point you can try and go to Visa/MC/Whomever directly but I honestly don't know if they will even work with you or just insist it's someone further down streams problem
Is it that the Hobbits desire little, or are their desires are so mundane that the One Ring has much more limited power over them?
OR: I can give unlimited power, the wealth of nations, also can turn you invisible!
Hobbit: Yea, ok, cool, but what about a sandwich and a pipe?
OR: ....
On top of that, he mentions his dreams in the first chapter when he is talking to the Reverend Mother iirc
No, but I just downloaded it! Thanks for the rec!
I use CapitalOne, they have some things but nothing exactly right.
I have also tried every budgeting software under the sun, and Level was the only one that worked for me sadly. I've thought about using vibe coding (not a mobile dev) to makey own android app to do something similar but also super lazy lol.
I want an app that existed, and was killed before it's time by Intuit. Level Money
You put in (and it learned over time) your expenses, and it gave you a single number which was how much you could spend per day. It adjusted as you went, so if you under/overspent it adjusted.
It wasn't perfect, but was the last time I had a firm handle on my finances.
Fuck you Intuit, burn in every hell imagine able for your myriad of sins including this minor one comparatively.
