Not just that, their responses are tweaked, fine tuned to give a more pleasing response by tweaking knobs no one truly understands. This is where AI gets its sycophantic streak from.

Reminds me of this gem (sorry for the host)

What are their complaints about Mattermost? That might help.

I mean, depending on which instance they joined they could've just as easily stepped into an even smaller echo chamber. Lemmy as a concept isn't magically free from them.

When my BYD gave me a service message after 2 years of driving it and I duly booked the service appointment, I got a friendly call back from them explaining that BYD had revised their policy based on their experiences servicing and that I had another year (or 10.000km) left before scheduled maintenance needed to occur.

I can't recall any dealership ever making such a call before, I'm sure most of them would've gladly pocketed the cash.

It boils down to wanting to feel smarter than the "establishment".

That's why even when this asshole promotes unconventional treatment avenues that you might agree with and want to be accessible to the peiple, you should be very skeptical of the safety of doing it his way, because he has shown to completely disregard responsible scientific processes for progress.

Tim Minchin once said something like "You know what they call alternative medicine that has been proven to work? Medicine."

How long can they hold him without a trial?

Come on, this is obvious rage bait. Anyone can print out shit, put it on their fridge, and take a photo.

So, every prisoner will be released after serving a maximum of 7 years? Also, it's not true. Cell turnover varies significantly by tissue type. Some cells, like those in the stomach lining, regenerate every few days, while others, like some brain cells, can last a lifetime.

I'd love a source on this

Is it me, or are 95% of these not misread social cues but just pronunciation fuckups?
