They must have had to pull her sternum up to give her a chin. She looked like a beardless version of her brothers before the surgery

To all my asthma homies: if you don't have a proper asthma plan because it's not a big deal usually, get yourself to the GP and chat through your options.

You may wish to start using a preventer inhaler - there are some good ones that also can be used as relievers too.

At the very least, stop using your Ventolin without a spacer. You're getting barely any of the drugs into your lungs.

Thunderstorm asthma is no joke. It kills the young and otherwise healthy. Don't be unprepared.

I'm fascinated by translation in poetry. How does it still rhyme?????

Ergh I'm guilty of repeating this bullshit when I was younger. It had been sold to me as a fact, not in what I perceived was a racist context per se - more a 'oh cool, lucky them, that makes sense gestures at basketball' way. Believe me, I get it now. Also, my mum's black... Where did I get this bullshit from? White men can't jump?

Yeah we were gifted some here in Aus. Afraid I don't get the bourbon thing. I'm a whisky girl but bourbon just tastes... Wrong? We have another really nice bottle of it (name escapes me) that we were also gifted. I'm afraid to open it in case I hate it.

Any Russians here who can explain the impacts of this kind of propaganda? What is daily life like in Russia (I know it's a big and varied place, but anecdotes is all I'm really after I guess)? What does 'the west' look like to the average Russian?

Like a replica of the real one, or does it belong in a museum...?

It certainly has its place but I know too many people who swear by it as an all purpose cleaner. It just isn't. The smell is a bit much too.

I imagine that this was one of those moments where you just stare in disbelief that it happened, then laugh at past-you for thinking it wouldn't.

One of those 'well fuck. Of course it did' moments.
