What makes you think that "European independent payment processor" would not pressure companies to follow similar (or worse) rules for "compliance"?

I don't understand what this article is about.

I also get RSUs at my job. Every "performance review cycle" together with salary increase I am awarded N shares that will vest over some period of time (multiple years). A few times a year those shares are vested, and after they are vested I actually own them and can sell them (or hold them for as long as I want). So they are part of my compensation package. If I get laid off (or quit) I will obviously not receive my unvested shares. The same as I will not receive any salary that my company would pay me if I continued working there.

So I don't understand how complaining about not receiving unvested shares is different from complaining about not receiving salary that you would get in the future by continuing working for the company...

A completely unmoderated instance [...]

OP doesn't ask for "unmoderated" instance though, they are explicitly asking for an instance that "takes moderation seriously". Moderation is absolutely not the same thing as censorship.

Well, it's definitely the case for me and for some of my friends/family.
I left Ukraine "legally" (it was before the war, when it was still possible to leave "legally" without paying huge bribes), but some of people I know had to escape "illegally" (some went to the Russia-controlled territories, some escaped through mountains/rivers to Moldova, some were caught..).
Zelensky has already tried to persuade European leaders to deport us, but so far he failed. Still, every once in a while news appear (usually from Baltics/Poland, but sometimes from other countries aa well) about some politician wanting to deport us, so this is quite scary shit.

That would be awesome solution if it were true :)

If you support other people being forced into war, why shouldn't you be forced there as well? Tit for tat.

So you think he doesn't have a lot of support anymore in Ukraine?

Well, you can ask the people getting kidnapped by his regime how much they support him. Or their family. Lots of people are afraid to leave their homes, others always carry a few thousands dollars to bribe kidnappers into not kidnapping them. That shit is so fucked up it's unreal. He is only supported by people who think (whether correctly or not) that it will not happen to them.

In the news coverage in our country they basically think everyone supports him and he is the legitimate president. In the EU he is almost worshiped.

I know, I live here as well. It's so fucked up. But at least with Trump's administration it's not taboo anymore to talk about all that shit anymore.

Probably true as long as he continues to be the dictator of Ukraine. Fingers crossed he will get overthrown soon.

The English version is subpar (probably machine translation), but the site is the only one I've found that has English version.
