MORE money than they ask

I wonder how much this is actually true versus a narrative that we just heard in the media. If you're getting more money than you asked for, it's always possibe to... not use it, and doesn't make sense in the first place. It seems like a narrative that's supposed to put the blame on those "useless bureaucrats" instead of "our dear and precious and righteous military!"

these are definitely sockpuppet accounts (at least the upvotes). Please don't assume even the average PMC labor aristocrat is like this lol. but idk maybe pmc labor aristcrat redditors are.

It's an Ubisoft game (and reviewed negatively), so it'll be $15 during frequent sales within a year.

Game development technology has also come a long way since then. 3D modeling and animation and game design and stuff are all probably a lot easier to do with all the fancy desktop software now available (and super fast computers).

Also it's entertainment and there's an incredible amount of competition for entertainment stuff. Games aren't food or housing.

Why did they need legislation to let that happen? Did they have to create an exemption for a certain type of necrophilia? thinking-about-it

Does it currently only work for fullscreen games or something like that? This might be more about full operating/windowing system support. Like changing the setting in GNOME Settings, having VRR on the desktop for normal windows, etc.

I searched a medical thing on Bing and it added an generated search result that spliced together text from multiple websites to say literally the opposite of what was true. Such garbage, and dangerous.

average person’s reaction to AI is fear

That definitely isn't true.

I'd also be really skeptical of this video because the tool that supposedly made these videos hasn't even been released to the public. So all of those videos are essentially marketing material and they could just be lying.

Calling it an op (not an acronym) is like online right-wingers calling January 6th people Antifa. It isn't unthinkable that someone really wouldn't like some right-wing psycho...
