You might know that John C. Fremont named the “Golden Gate” (the strait that connects San Francisco Bay with the Pacific Ocean across which the Golden Gate Bridge now spans), but you might not know that he did so well before the discovery of gold that started the gold rush.

Would’ve taken less time than commenting to go to bestbuy.com to see that indeed first purchase is currently giving 15% back.

If we’re not ready to put our jobs at risk to protest for what we believe in, do we really believe in it.

Our founding fathers were risking their actual lives. GTFO with the “livelihood” bullshit.

I generally don’t believe Iran was on its way to building nuclear weapons, only nuclear energy. But, if we were to entertain for a moment the notion that they were, this is all pretty badass no?

But, since it’s not the case this whole thing is frightening. Israel is a terrorist state and I’m tired of pretending otherwise.

Okay, but like specifically what law, proposed or enacted?

To what Democratic policy or policies are you referring?

Thank you. While I’m sure a phone call to all three is warranted, wouldn’t it be a safe bet for those of us in California that both senators will be staunchly opposed?

Can someone more knowledgeable that I say where this bill stands; I know it’s passed the house, but does that mean contacting my congressman is moot? Or will the bill be amended by the senate and need to be voted in the house again?

Let’s agree to simply not tell people what they do and do not need.
