i'm lowkey still mad that katniss chose peeta
CW: transphobia
So I was in a group setting, and as soon as X left for a brief moment, a guy whispered to me "is X a t-slur?" I scream internally but can only muster a shrug externally ( I know). He shuts up for a while and shortly after just leaves without a reason. I'm pretty sure everyone there was cis, but the mere suspicion of someone being trans seemed to have put him in full trans panic mode. He's obviously unhinged, but I feel the need to self crit for even appearing to him as a potential peer.
At some point you just gotta face that if people feel that their treats would be threatened, they will do any and all mental gymnastics to justify anything.
I can't believe you would do a class reductionism like this
if this doesn't make you smile brighter than any other lyrics, i don't know what will
if they weren't an antisemite, why would someone bother making a documentary about their antisemitism?
we desperately need a music AI that replaces vocals with nonsense because all lyrics are cringe
i can fix you
yesterday i was crossing the road at a proper marked crossing, the car keeps going fast and narrowly missing me, whereupon i slow down, flip him off, and continue walking. he got so mad he turned around and stopped to shout something at me (couldn't hear, was using headphones)
I could picture the scenario going 2 main ways:
You can only use option 1 so many times, but in this particular situation (also otherwise kind of weird) I think it made sense. Obviously if this was an organizational setting, it should be option 2 always.
