Slightly related: someone needs to organize a celebrity AMA on Lemmy to let people know that there’s a new sheriff in town (or something like that).

I’ve actually been using the Reddit app for quite some time now and I don’t get the hate. Regardless of that, the way Reddit handled all of this was enough for me to leave anyway. Hi Lemmy!

I see, thanks. What volume(s) are you persisting that way exactly? I mean the internal path that pictrs is using.

mylem.me

it's intended to be a highly reliable little instance. For now it's closed, though, until I figured out how to properly handle pictrs' internal state.

how do you handle the sled state for pictrs with 2 nodes? I've been having some trouble with it.

Yes but 99 is also literally ninety nine, so the English ones should be 90+9 🤷‍♂️ don’t know about Spanish, though

My (short) take on this:

The whole fediverse lacks security right now compared to how email did in the 90s. This will only become a problem with mass adoption, again, like it did with email.

Good to start thinking about it early on, though.

Someone forgot to set their phone to do not disturb

I’d argue it’s 4*20+19 in French, though, otherwise you’d probably need to change some of the other 99 to 90+9.

I’ve got my pictrs backed by an S3, so that should scale well.

I had some issues with the image server, though, and I had multiple of them running at the same time at some point, so that may have been the cause.

That phrase makes perfect sense, though
