i don't really know what's going on with me, the best way i can describe it is i don't feel like the labels "man" or "woman" really apply to me, but i feel comfortable with my name and my body and he/him pronouns, so it doesn't really affect me. i might feel more comfortable with they/them pronouns, but it doesn't make me feel dysphoric to use he/him so i don't see an advantage to changing my name or pronouns. i might do it on hexbear though!

you seriously think the ONLY possible explanation for cheap solar panels is "cheap slave labor?"

not the fact that the chinese government has heavily subsidized these industries? your only explanation is work camps? where are the pictures of these work camps, the stories from all of those people who came to the US from China, they must have something to say about all of the slavery and work camps!

get fucking real and stop living in lib fantasyland

also love dhar mann's implication that homophobes need to be constantly frothingfash and screaming "I HATE THE GAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GAYS ARE BAD!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYS"

no nuance, no commentary on microagressive tendencies and stereotyping (though dhar mann stereotypes queer ppl himself). Not every scared-fash is always frothingfash

Thank you so much, comrades! I am feeling pretty comfortable with linux mint, and now would like some suggestions for some absolutely necessary FOSS or free license software for the OS. So far I have the standard, Firefox, ThunderBird, LibreOffice, yada yada. Thank you again to everyone on the linux comm! sankara-salute

Hi! You may be sick of these posts by now, but I have been having a very hard time selecting between three distros; that being OpenSUSE, Fedora, and Linux Mint. I have tried linux in the past, I did debian with cinnamon and ran into some issues, so I ended up sheepishly reinstalling windows and getting AME10. I want to give it another shot though, and I have settled on one of these three. I am an absolute beginner to linux and i'm a g*mer (laugh it up), so out of these which would be better? I don't have too many preferences, I guess I would like to avoid CLI's as much as possible but it's not too much of a big deal. I could get used to it and learn the commands. If you can give a bit of advice, that'd be great and I appreciate all of you! af-heart

i tried piped for a while, but many times i tried to watch videos and they didn't start loading until i reloaded it what felt like hundreds of times. any reccomendations?

edit: Dear comrades reading this, i am not sure if it will work the same for people outside of amerikkka, but puffyan.us worked really well for me. i decided not to go with yewtu.be, as i wanted to be able to find content using my subscriptions rather than searching for topics. if that doesn't bother you, go with yewtube but puffyan worked well for me. thank you for all of the advice!

Another JT classic.

More accurate than every amerikkkan outlet i have seen. death to Amerikkka

I like games but hate paying money for them. is there any app to assist in this?

I want to make a database on a cloud file sharing program similar to google drive where comrades can upload high quality mp3's and flac's of socialist songs. What would be a good program to go about doing so?

This is a game that definitely has its issues, largely with performance. It's prone to crashing sometimes, but for some reason I just keep coming back to play this game. It's an RTS that takes place on an entire solar system, and is pretty beginner friendly. I find it easier than StarCraft, much less punishing. The dev team went bankrupt a while back, so there is no more support, which is a huge bummer but the game itself is ridiculously fun. I would encourage you to give it a shot, but it's 30 or so dollars, so you can always ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ if you want. The team is bankrupt anyway. (You won't be able to play online if you ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ though.)

So, I play subnautica and frequently switch between the current version and the public legacy version, one to play with friends using a mod that only works for legacy and the other for my own world which I play on the current version. This requires going to the betas tab and downloading the new version each time, which is fine, but Itd be much more convienient to switch between them instantly. Is there any way to do this?

I am interested in how pirates on the internet (which i am not) would get there hands on the files to a game, just, for example, Baldur's Gate 3, without torrenting? Now, I have heard tell of a place where these nefarious no-gooders would do this, for example gog-games.to. But, once they have acquired the file, what steps to these pirates take next? I have heard that .bin files come with these illegal files? How would one approach using those bin files? All out of curiosity of course. Thank you!

I fucking hate this. Its all for literally nothing. For fucking money. Money. Imaginary pieces of paper. Even worse, imaginary numbers on a fucking screen. Data. It's all for fucking nothing. We won't avoid the 1.5 C mark, and it might come in 5 years. 2 C would mean basically the end of any semblance of normal, at all, and the collapse of the global south. Forget even 3 degrees, I'd probably already be dead. They won. They fucking won. No revolution in the Imperial Core is possible. Everyone is a chud, or a lib, or a left anticommunist. We can't fucking win. It's over. The world is over. doomjak

So, I have used spotify premium for a long time and want to switch to using MP3 files. Is there a way I can find all of the songs I downloaded using SF Premium and copy them to a drive? TIA Comrades
