He was probably afraid to call for help due to the insane prices the search and rescue folks charge. Might have wanted to wait another day or two to be sure he was really lost before calling for help.

I've had Google Play Music (and YouTube Premium as a freebie) since it launched at $7.99 per month. Folks like me who were grandfathered in at that price just got an increase to $13.99, which forced me to cancel. I can't afford restaurants or takeout anymore with inflation as bad as it is, and I guess I can't afford YouTube either.

That's pretty much the exact situation they're describing. They were in line before closing, but were 1 minute after closing by the time they actually got far enough up in line to place their order.

Revamped supports Chromecast as well. Does Newpipe not?

Thanks to the N7 logo next to your name, I read this comment in Commander Shepard's voice. "Kleenex brand - now with LOTION! - is the only tissue on the Citadel that I'll trust my nose to!"

I mean, the FSB could have easily had an asset inside the refueling operation at the Moscow airport. Place a small time-delayed explosive charge in the fuel intake of the left wing just before take-off, and you'd end up with pretty much exactly the crash profile we've seen.

It's cheaper and more reliable than a missile, leaves less physical evidence behind, and maintains a higher level of plausible deniability. Especially if your fallback plan is to blame it on the Ukrainians if the plot gets discovered.

So you're saying we were born at pretty much the worst possible point in time? Early enough to see the peak of post-WWII civilization, but late enough that we experience all of the horrors as it fades into dust?

Formal: officially sanctioned or recognized
Like... a contract where money changes hands for example?

Association: a connection or cooperative link between people or organizations
Like... when one organization provides funding to another?

Ah, whataboutism. The tired refuge of the disproved.

Just because 'Statement A' implies 'Implication B' does not make 'Statement A' any less true.

If you receive 1% of your overall funding from one organization, that's a close formal association. It doesn't automatically mean their reporting is compromised or anything else you might assume comes along with that tag, but that tag is definitely accurate in this case.

Hard disagree. If you receive 1% of your overall funding from one organization, that's a close formal association. It doesn't automatically mean their reporting is compromised or anything else you might assume comes along with that tag, but it definitely does apply in this case.
