Unless they’ve been rescinded, there are state warrants still open. No civil or criminal charges but there would be nothing stopping Abbott from just immediately declaring a session and arresting them when they cross state lines.

Would they not still be immediately arrested upon entering the state, leading to the same exact problem we’re facing right now?

And it makes those folks just as culpable. Knowing someone is actively committing that sort of crime and doing nothing is nearly as bad as doing it.
