It's a joke from the game lol - it might be improved by playing it in short bursts though, would certainly break up the monotany or some aspects

There's no Fremen on Caladan.

I know? What does that have to do with what I said?

Interesting that you run into those issues, I've had it for years and handedly had to manual reconcile more than once or twice early on, certainly not in the last few years

Good news is, no one is making you use it!

In fairness to multicolor printing in general, he couldn't have picked a worse multicolor model for generating waste. You want to optimize for as few color changes as possible. Just the other day I printed some pokeballs in full color and it was (iirc) around a 0.4:1 waste:print ratio - which is still a fair bit of waste, but nothing like 2.5, thanks to the fact that the colors are layered.

Gradients are the absolute worst thing for multicolor printing, this printer was probably doing 3-6 color switches per layer

I'll check it out! Thanks

Yup, it plays well with his audience - she's just a poor stay at home mom doing her best to take care of her kids, and the evil radical left is dragging her into their witch hunt, harming her kids

Yeah it's bullshit, but it's good bullshit

Tbf - it's possible (though im not saying this is necessarily what's happening) that the details are just being kept from the media due to the sensitive subject

That's interesting, the Bambu slicer actually does let you control how much, if at all, you purge during switches - I might try just setting it to 0 and seeing what I end up with..

Maybe you ought to humble yourself, given that you're the one stating that you know with absolute certainty how another individual that you know nothing about would or wouldn't act.

I never said I was immune to propoganda, lies, or manipulation - there are just simply no lies, manipulations, or propoganda that could make me abandon my morals to the extent of literal genocide. You could probably get me to hate a group you wanted me to hate, but I wouldn't murder my own worst enemy - so that's not going to get you anywhere.

Arteides happen to be one of the good royal families,

You already lost me, the Atreides aren't "good", they're just populist and spend more energy on PR than the Harkonnens.

Their plans with the fremens is a pretty good example. Their plans with the Fremens was to turn them into a private army to use against the Emperor. They were going to use the fremens hatred of the Harkonnens as a recruiting tactic, but they weren't helping the fremens by any means. They were planning to trade fremen lives for Atreides power

There are really no "good guys" in Dune. Paul isn't a hero, he's a warning against the concept of heros

It was also not Paul directing the subsequent crusades against the imperium, it was the fremen, who were zealot warriors.

Actually he did - because he saw in a vision that not directing the Jihad would lead to even more death and destruction

Both Paul and Letos reigns defy categorization in a lot of ways simply because a lot of the reasons behind their rule and mechanisms behind their government rely on fictional things (mainly prescience)

I do agree though that Fascist probably isn't the best label here - certainly it was a flavor of totalitarianism in any case

I can say with 110% certainty that I don't need to be forced to not commit genocide. Hell, I don't even need to be forced to commit individual murders. If murder was made legal tomorrow, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't go on a killing spree because I'm no longer forced to not murder.

Talk about telling on yourself, if this is what you genuinely think is true for everyone
