Yeah the Robot series was great if you like whodunits - the focus is very much on the plot, and all the world building we get directly impacts the plot

Because everything is always America's fault

Yup, if this takes off, we can absolutely expect people to start complaining that death row criminals are getting off easy.

People will pull out the usual excuses for cruelty in our criminal justice system "well, their victim didn't get a peaceful death!" and shit like that. As though making the perpetrator (and it's always a possibility that they were falsely convicted) suffer an agonizing death will retroactively lessen the victims stuffering.

Its sick, but it's absolutely going to happen.

"if work is hard, why wouldnt you just choose not to do the work?"

This is next level out of touch lol. You're right though, all those construction workers should just become CEOs!

Yeahhh I can appreciate the well meant sentiment he was going for but he circled all the way back to being prejudiced lol

I know that, I also know that it has a relatively narrow scope, participation is by treaty and varies wildly from country to country, and often isn't enforced well. Hence my comment

Yeah honestly I've been really confused by the claims about how bug free this game is.

It might be because I'm playing in split screen mostly, but my wife and I rarely go a session without a pretty major bug and a whole lot of minor ones

Don't get me wrong, we both love the game and the bugs are totally worth putting up with, but the claims of it being super stable are a bit odd to us
