Nah they're hated because they act like middleschoolers trying to be edgy

I'm a fucking fiend for ice in my water, like I literally will fill the cup full of ice first, then put water in the space that's left. When I visited Europe it was fucking rough getting used to never having ice. And if you asked for it (which I tried not to do, but I caved a few times) they'd give you like 3 cubes
And with that, I think my time using Airbnb is officially over. Don't get me wrong, this is far from the only reason, but hotels are already basically the same price (often cheaper) and come with so much less drama and privacy issues.
I've got two trips booked on Airbnb over the next year, I'll probably keep both, but I won't be booking any future trips
I agree if this was done by a bipartisan board with good intentions, but this is just political showmanship.
Second hardest part is getting that group to consistently show up lol
Seriously, if they present some actual evidence, I'll be standing right with the Republicans (well, OK a reasonable distance apart so people don't think we're together) in calling for his impeachment.
So far though, all they've actually put forward are legal issues with Hunter (who I didn't vote for), with no actual legal issues with Biden. I think it says a lot that they've started this whole process without actually presenting a shred of evidence beforehand.
The whole thing reeks of "you made us look bad by impeaching our guy, and that hurt our feelings. so now we're gonna do it to you guys!"
Super weird that they can't scrape together a down-payment in a time where 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and housing prices are at an all time high.
Also, with interest rates being as they are, mortgages are likely more expensive than rent. Im in the process of closing on a house, and I know our monthly cost is way the hell up from before.
Seriously though dude, you need to take a step back and realize you're a bit out of touch. All your comments have big "millenials wouldn't have money problems if they just stopped buying so much avacado toast" energy
Cmon dude, have you not been in any of the threads that remotely concern Apple? Lemmy absolutely seethes at the notion that anyone might actually prefer Apple products.
And before you call me a fan boy, I'm literally typing this on a Samsung phone while playing games on my windows PC. you don't have to be an Apple obsessed fan boy to find the circle jerk annoying
renters just make excuse after excuse after excuse why they won't buy a house.
"wahhh I'm living paycheck to paycheck and may not be able to pay rent this month, let alone set aside a down-payment and closing costs for a house when houses are at an all time high price"
Poor people, amirite? Don't they know that the solution to all their problems is to just get more money?
While I do agree this is stupid, who actually transfers data to their phone via USB anymore?
I've seen this mentioned in literally every single iphone related discussion since the news broke, but what percentage of users will even be affected? And of those affected, how many are doing it often enough that max speed is really important?
I'll bet less than 0.1% tbh, probably significantly less
The first and only time I transfered data onto my current phone (Z Fold 4) was to dump a bunch of ROMs on it, and since that was hundreds of gigs, it took a longass time anyways
My wife does this.. She's damn lucky she's the love of my life 😅
I see I've met my opposite
