considering the death threats they and their families faced from Australians, I don't blame them for keeping a low profile.

Australians are profoundly simple. Go through this thread and take a look at all the nit-picking around our 'totally not racist' claims; it basically boils down to "we let wealthy people come here so we can racially vilify them for political expedience".

more then 60% of the country just voted along purely racist lines. we are racist, very racist. people coming here should be forewarned.

no, I'm talking about Australians and their culture. Australians acts like their state is a vital and respected world player, in reality it's just cemented its place as an arrogant and largely irrelevant post-colonial meme that will be completely subsumed by a more powerful Asian neighbour in the near future. The sad hilarity is that all we're trying to save back home is petty white hubris.

to say it plainly, you're clearly not very bright. that you actually believe attack advertisements and social media spin, while still maintaining a stream of 'considered' opinions really lays out the massive problem Australia faces with wilful, proud, ignorance. that you're actually daft enough to claim that this will be somehow revisited? jfc...

this comment is a good example of how profoundly ill-informed Australians are with regard to our politics; our constitution is a colonialist relic with no inalienable rights and colossal centralisation of power, and people act like it's actually somehow modern or progressive.

by and large Australians are unsophisticated, easily manipulated, political idiots.

anyone with half a brain would look at our system and laugh at the corruption it encourages, here sadly, we don't have half a brain between us.

it's a silly way of saying undeveloped versus developed. in itself it is a misnomer as Australia still has a backwards, absurdly outdated, colonialist constitution. we're not a developed, or 'first world' state, democratically anyway..

everyone acting like it's some great mystery... simple truth is that Australians are profoundly entitled, racist, arseholes. anyone who has lived in any other culture and then returned will agree.

Frankly, I've had it with being soft on conservatives. they're overwhelmingly uninformed and aggressive. Thankfully they're also stupid; trawl their social media and it's easy to target and damage/destroy their employment/business and personal relationships just using opinions they post themselves. Start the social engineering. it's great fun when they break, leverage those male suicide rates in Australia. bullying neo-cons is easy af. it's not systemic change but you can clear them out of your local community, be relentless, it's not illegal.

EDIT: why am i a mod?

ALP or LNP, no bloody difference

Well, the Tory’s in the UK have contracted the same people for their floating death camps… should tell you all you need to know.
