I think most people wouldn't bother to do that, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it. If your wife finds it annoying it might be because she feels like her use of AC is now being monitored and judged. You should probably make it clear that that's not the case. If it is the case, then yeah, you should stop.

I think their point of view is closer to the correct one than yours. Either way, who cares? It doesn't matter what you or I think about China.

Because you need to eat more Name-Calling each day than any other type of argument, followed by Ad-Hominem, etc. You only need a little bit of Refuting the Central Point to reach your daily nutritional needs.

WTF, I have never used nor seen "j."

I don't usually have to name these variables these days though. Pretty much everything I use has foreach or some functional programming type stuff.

And like that, the off-by-one mistakes disappear.
