Hey I remember your posts from reddit. It's cool to see you on Lemmy, and that you still post the texts of your podcasts ( I just prefer reading to podcasts so thank you!). I remember you posting about PlutoSDR. I have one, but I've only received ADS-B and broadcast FM. I should really hook it up again.

I was at the gym yesterday running on the treadmill. I usually avoid the ones that are in front of one of the TVs that have Fox News on (there's a bunch of TVs in front of the treadmills). Fox News was talking about some fight that happened in Ohio somewhere. They were talking about of for seriously 25 minutes and then they covered the nuclear submarine thing. No mention of jobs report and subsequent firing of the BLS person. The fight in Ohio was the focus because there were blacks and whites involved.

The veneer of respectability is gone. 250 years of slavery, 100 of segregation, COINTELPRO, overthrowing democratically elected governments across Latin America, the Red Scare, 'Regime Change', the Patriot Act etc. This has always been an authoritarian country controlled by the wealthy. Trump just stopped pretending to be anything else.

Bitwig has a Linux version. It's proprietary and paid, but it's very nice to use and comes with a ton of devices.

I think Norway's fossil fuels probably play a role too. They produce around 2 million barrels of oil a day, with a population of 5.5 million people. The US produces 13 million barrels a day with a population of 340 million. Tons of natural gas too.

Edit: Nevermind Norway uses hydroelectric for like 95% of their electricity. Maybe power is just cheap there

No I think the dose used in studies is like 0.5-1.0mg once a day.

It's under trials for obesity. It has a half-life of like seven days. I've seen it for sale online, but it was quite expensive.

Apparently there is a belief in tech-weirdo land that having a baby with a c-section means a bigger brain, and therefore higher IQ
