I think I have been subconsciously trying to improve my gut biome as an adult....
bier
What does it do?
No it's a name you call somebody, but only if someone really hurt you or screwed you over.
When you hurt you toe you might say teering or tyfus (tbc, typhus)
Cancer dog (kanker hond) is a very bad swear word in the Netherlands.
I get your point but there have been many cases of terrorism that was done by someone that already lived (usually legally) in a coutry. Like those assholes that steal a car or truck and just drive it into a busy street. Unfortunately intelligence agencies are a necessary evil.
This is so true, especially now I have kids and just have to get up at 6:30 or 7 when I'm lucky. Even if I'm alone now I can't sleep anymore after 7 because my body just makes sure I'm wide awake (even though I'm still really tired).
I think they also say, he causes them to teach us things.
Yeah that little kid that drowned in the pool really learned her lesson, I guess...
Yes but I felt adding the "je" part would make it more confusing for non Dutch readers.
In the Netherlands basically everyone uses whatsapp. In the beginning people would say send me a whatsapp or something like that. But pretty quickly people started to shorten it to just app. So people will say stuff like I just got an app (instead of message), it drives me nuts. Like my family chat group is called "app group".
In my case it was actually the port, well not really the port, but a lot of pocket dust had gotten into the port. I spend some time with a toothpick to clean everything out and it was fixed. When you think you got it all there is probably more.
It's a different version of the tolerance paradox
The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance; thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance. (Source Wikipedia)
Thanks, that sounds like something that should definitely be a default option in an OS.
I remember I used rocketdock way back in the day. It gave windows sort of a mac style dock. At some point I also used something called launchy I think.
