I think thats exactly it. A lot of the people begrudgingly have a PC. I bet most of those just use whatever the PC came with. Linux and Mac users are more likely to enjoy using a PC.

This would be perfect for Norway. Oslo-Trondheim and Oslo-Bergen is consistently among the most trafficked air routes in Europe and the train ride is 7-8 hours. I love trains and use them whenever I can and even though I believe we should get better train infrastructure between the largest cities I also concede the fact that beyond those it's just not practical with trains all the way up north or out to the small coast communities.

Electric planes with a few hundred kilometers reach would suite our domestic travel juuust fine. I might even have started my European interrail trip with a short flight to Oslo or Copenhagen if electric planes where doable and reasonable (in terms of both cost and emissions).

In Norway we made the plastic bags really expensive (about half an Euro atm) and it's working wonders. I still have a stash of them, but they're for special emergencies. The stores sell actual trash bags that's much smaller and thinner, and thus more convenient (for me at least) so that problem is taken care of as well.

I keep 4 reusable fabric bags around as well, two for shopping, 1 for glass and 1 for recyclable bottles.

I find that I much prefer this system. And I still have the option to pay 5kr for a plastic bag at store if I have to.

5kr for a bag is juuust enough for me to get my reusable bag at home if I want to make spontaneous trip to the store on my way home.

All you need to start playing Standard, Pioneer and maybe Modern in Magic the Gathering. Or like maybe half a Legacy deck.

In my other hobbies which are rebuilding with old lego by hand and imagination, baking and reading a grand will keep me good for a year. Or 5. Depends on motivation and how many free books I pick up.

In Norway "shit" is considered the child friendly way of swearing since it's not religious. I still have no idea why it's considered swearing in English/USA

Well yes! You are on drugs, just legal ones and, I assume reasonable doses.

I buy albums if I really l Iike them since I enjoy listening to the same thing multiple times, especially so as I'm getting older and have disposable income. But the amount of 50cent* albums on Bandcamp would probably keep me content for a long long while.

*You need to pay at least 50 cents for a "name your price" album to get it downloadable in the Bandcamp app

Norway leaving the union with Sweden in 1905 is famously one of the very few times secession was done non-violently. But to be fair there was large political pressure from Swedish socal democrats that urged the king not to go to war and the Sweds and Norwegians liked each other and remained good friends and allies afterwards.

Maybe if both parties start to work on the relationship and get friendly right away, then you could maybe have a peaceful resolution in 50 to 100 years time.

I play some during winter, but only single player games with good storylines, and decent and relatively easy gameplay. I live so far north that I get maybe 1 hour of actual sunlight in the middle of winter and due to global warming I get maybe one or two weekends for skiing so I'm glad for video games to keep me entertained along with books.

What I don't have any time for is TV.
