They aren't looking for reasons to help people, just reasons to deport, no matter how thin.
I have friends who are naturalized citizens, often for decades, and all say they aren't worried, but I am. These people don't even respect Birthright Citizenship, which guaranteed in the Constitution, they certainly aren't going to respect naturalized citizens. I've heard reports that they are combing through everyone's files, looking for any discrepancy, and if they find ANYTHING, they'll lose their citizenship or green card.
Bottom line: If you are from somewhere else, they want you out.
Today, ICE also publicly beat up and detained a guy with three sons who are Marines.
I hope these stories circulate through the active duty guys, and they think about it when Hegseth orders them to fire on American protesters.

Why send him to a prison at all? I get that they may have grounds to send him anywhere except El Salvador, but why does it have to be a prison? From what I know, he wasn't detained for any crime, other than being undocumented. So send him to a country that will receive him, and release him. It doesn't have to be some terrible prison Hell.

I have seen articles saying that a Zohran win would force the Democratic Party to face change, and acknowledge the rising progressive movement. Let's see if they accept the changes, or they fight against it. I suspect they'll fight, but if other elections start moving left, they'll be forced to change.
The next big test will be the mid-term primaries. Hopefully, this win will encourage progressives to run, and hopefully they'll win enough primary races to become a serious threat, especially against Establishment Dems.
And I hope one of them is AOC primarying Chuck Schumer. That spineless, whining bitch has got to go. He holds a lot of the blame for the rise of MAGA.
