The reason we keep seeing this is because it's a basic loyalty test for Team Trump. Trump (and company) made the great lie and if you want to be seen as team player than you need to back it too. Gang tactics 101.

I can't hate the followup response. It is legitimately more important to support good policy (such as antitrust) than any particular team. Even if Trump and his entire administration are a joke (and they are), that doesn't mean the Democrats are the good guys here or that we shouldn't stand up for good policy just because it came from his administration. Praising the actual people who made the actual good policy decisions does not absolve Trump for all his shit and we shouldn't pretend it's as cut and dry as that.

All that said, giving Trump any fucking credit does seem ridiculous. The man would fuck over his mother for a dollar. I don't see why he'd give a shit about antitrust unless it benefited him somehow.

This does look promising. Website says they will do a Kickstarter this coming spring (2025) and uh, rather optimistically predicts shipping in the summer? Definitely bookmarking though, we need more tech like this. My final gripe is that I wish they talk about the software more. It's not hard to find intriguing hardware but if it's unsupported on the software side then it doesn't matter.

Yakuake for life baby, it's the best, fully customizable, some really beautiful presets out there. My sweet spot is full screen but with 70ish percent opacity so I can read what's behind it. Pull up your tutorial or walkthrough or whatever in a browser, hit f12 and goooooo.
