I had an old BMW. I park in the back of retail parking lots because I don't see the point in circling lots to find a space that is 40ft closer and you can pull through the spaces. Lots of times I would come out of the store and another BMW would be parked next to mine, like there was some automotive kinship or something. There would be five open spaces, some guy and my car. It was always weird.

Streaming services are the best thing to ever happen to music from a consumer standpoint. You get access to a library of more music than you could listen to in a lifetime, and you're not dependent on industry gatekeepers like in the days of radio and MTV. You don't have to shell out money and hope you like more than two songs on the album. Because of that, I'm more adventurous with music than I've ever been.

They stopped making them because the 500 Euro note was the choice currency of transnational criminals.

How can we protect ourselves from the terrorists we create with our foreign policy without warrantless surveillance? /s

The dipshits on Fox last night were making hilarious claims. This is the greatest military victory ever. Iran will never be able to rebuild their military.

College Republicans are insufferable losers. Can you imagine the kind of kids who show up for a high school level TPUSA event?

What the article fails to mention is that for many people, the bigger issue is how lobbyist groups can throw dark money behind candidates and get them elected. People want money out of politics.

AIPAC is the most egregious because they are working to funnel tax dollars to a wealthy apartheid state engaging in genocide, but they are just the a part of the problem. People know the Dems are bought and paid for by corporate lobbyists and mega donors and they are sick of it.

I have compassion for anyone who has ever paid to see one of his shows.

The 301st Power Bottom Division was a decorated outfit before the Turkish military instituted this policy.

It is all an act for people like Carlson and Owens. Carlson is much better at disguising his rhetoric in classical liberalism with a layer of "America first". And Carlson might not be in it for the money as much as Owens is - he genuinely seems to like to create controversies for the sake of watching the world burn - but they are both hacks whose political opinions are dictated by what will get them the most clicks, the largest audience, the most fame, etc. They're both trying to position themselves for a post-Trump world.

Of the 50 people in that audience, half were shocked by what he said. The other half were trying to remember the lyrics to the Baby Shark song.

My conspiracy theory is that they intentionally made the internet search engines awful to force us to use AI.
