I don't know why. Steam stays connected through it for seemingly no reason, but every other app, even kde ones like discovery, lose their connection and i'm forced to mullvad reconnect. How do I troubleshoot this? Ping also works when this is happening like nothing's wrong at all

It's ok on desktop I can access anything but on mobile it's like the VPN has no effect, it's still blocking the same subreddits on that account, I tried reinstalling and deleting the app data and I have DAITA and multihop on but still blocked. And I don't think the account has been flagged as then it wouldn't work on desktop. Get me out of this sh*thole country omg.

So obviously regarding the new laws that have been implemented throughout most of Europe I have decided to give in and get Mullvad since I am just not having it with these new restrictions, so far everything is working incredibly smoothly and as promised but I have come across the issue that even though my location is not set anywhere near the EU or UK I still see these censors regardless. I learned that the bypass where you change your country in the settings had been patched this morning but I thought I would not be affected anyways. I haven't really seen anyone else talk about this and wanted to know if anyone else was coming across this and how to possibly fix it?

Edit: I see this is a frequent question popping up, I hope something can be done about it in the future, its a shame because its the only downside to this vpn.

Ive been using mullvad for a month, its a great vpn and happy to stick with it.

But I've noticed that (at least on the servers I use) I need to verify that im not a bot more frequently.

Also some server firewalls may even block mullvad al together. Very minor ones though, I don't remember what sites.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a backup solution for my home video and photo projects.

Currently, I have a few WD password HDDs that I use for a periodic backup of all of the data (around 4TB) with my own software that basically checks for modified data and copies it to the same location - it works but it is really annoying. So I'm looking for a seamless solution...

Something like synology NAS seems to be perfect, but I'm not sure that I'm willing to spend that much money on this. Also, I don't need a NAS - DAS would be enough.

So, I found TerraMaster D4-320, which seems like it would do the job, but since it only has a software RAID I'm not sure.

I would love something that shows up as ONE HDD on my system and has an automatic backup.

EDIT: So I found out I don't really need to complicate my life with a RAID. I can add two large HDDs to my PC and use software to do a backup automatically for me. The thing is that what I used before (acronis) did backups in some kind of an image file, which I don't like.

Would FreeFileSync or Robocopy work fine in my case? I don't need an exact HDD clone, just a synced backup.

Any other ideas? Thanks!

Hey guys, I am currently looking for parts for my new gaming pc setup. I do have a couple HDDs and sata SSDs, so I'll probably need to get an additional PCIE card for additional sata ports.

Can you guys recommend any good cards with 4-6 ports? I've never used a card like that, how much power do they usually draw? How much headroom should I calculate for my PSU?
