It looks like one of the rockets at the bottom, is unable to deploy a consistent thrust. It’s kinda sputtering.

Well, I don’t want to credit tumor, oop typo for Trump but I’ll allow it. So tumor and vance.

It was more that Encryption is constantly under threat. I don’t know how that gets downvoted.

Sounds good until you remember that they keep trying to backdoor encryption. It’s asinine.

The only good thing the ~~Trump admin~~ JD Vance has done: UK will back down over its demands on Apple for an encryption backdoor

This isn’t the first time it’s come up. In EU too.

Yes it sucks. And it’s not the only one. I’ve recently been seeing scam ‘official site’ of a real site. Then in another occasion it was looking for a product. I couldn’t remember if it was just .com or .net. The product was not even within the first two pages of results.

I also tried DuckDuckGo.

Meanwhile I tried Kagi, first result for both, each time. I was swapping to Linux and didn’t have my Kagi login handy at the time. Anyway

It’s a HUGE difference today in search. To find what you need through all this other extra shit. Good Search is more important now than ever imho.

[–] b3an@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

That’s glaringly obvious.

Helllll naw. Gimme booty baby 😁

I got a warning after saying I’d break the fingers of a guy who would have given me a wet willy for no reason. I also spelled out I was bullied as a teen from someone doing this.

Also the video is the guy punching someone.

Yet I got a warning for ‘violent’ commentary. What the fuck.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile Trump wants to mass deport thousands.

Commentary: This timeline is like if God took questionable drugs and they just kicked in after some 4.5 billion years after making Earth. Damn. How long this trip gonna last for us 😭

Six weeks into his second term, the U.S. president has hit imports from Mexico and Canada with 25% levies, put an additional 20% tariff on goods from China, threatened reciprocal tariffs globally and cut off military aid to Ukraine.

But instead of the rising yields and higher dollar that investors had wagered on in November, the so-called "Trump trade" is in full retreat.

Trade conflict has begun in earnest and the dollar is falling while bond yields dive.

U.S. allies are rattled. As Goldman Sachs analysts note, the average tariff rate on imports from China is now 34% and the increase is already roughly twice as large as that in the first Trump administration. Nobody wants to bet anymore that there will be swift compromises or deals.

Webb’s near-infrared camera took the picture of Saturn on June 25. Scientists added orange color to the monochrome picture to produce the image released Friday.

The picture shows Saturn’s iconic icy rings shining around the disk of the gas giant, which appears much darker in near-infrared due to the absorption of sunlight by methane particles suspended high in the planet’s atmosphere.

Webb pointed its 21.3-foot (6.5-meter) gold-coated mirror toward Saturn as part of an observing program to test the telescope’s ability to detect faint moons. The observations included several deep exposures of Saturn that astronomers are still analyzing to probe the planet’s fainter rings and search for undiscovered moons.

There are 146 known moons in orbit around Saturn, ranging in size from larger than the planet Mercury to the size of a sports arena, more than any other planet in the solar system, according to NASA.
