Yeah I might be a little biased from 2021 I guess but it really feels like its happened more than that. It was legitimately the only complaint I ever had about Goff in those dominant years it felt like late in games if someone got a clean hit on him (especially blind side but thats more understandable) there was a high chance the ball popped out and id about die of stress before he fell or Whit or someone fell back on it.

I'm honestly exceptionally surprised Goff isn't on here. I'm guessing he tightened up a bit in Detroit? He was good for one fumble a game on the Rams it felt like but the team was pretty good about recovering them thankfully. Love Goff to death and knew hed most likely turn it around but man had fumbleitis really bad for a guy doesn't intentionally need to leave the pocket a lot like Fields.
The Allen stuff was legit at the time the wide concensus was that he was talented but super raw and had bad fundamentals and taking him that early was seen as a mistake. Obviously Josh Allen proved the doubters wrong very very wrong but that wasn't a hot take at the time.
