Thanks, that's great to hear!

@a1studmuffin@lemmy.ml I know I have no right to ask this as I'm in no position to contribute myself atm, but please make it a long press or add on option to configure the behavior (like Boost). I already find myself fat-fingering the wrong UI action a lot, and this new collapsing behavior doesn't help.
Not a manga reader, just wanted to let you know that there's !manga@feddit.de which seems reasonably active.
ETA: Actually there's !manga@lemmy.ml too, but like OP I initially didn't find it. Weird...
Yeah, I like Yorushika too. Suis' voice is just soo smooth! If you like, go and post some tracks! I don't want to monopolize the community.
That's basically what Reddit does when you're not logged in (and a bunch of similar sites too I guess).
There actually already is an issue about this: https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/issues/369 🙂
But just to add, I've noticed both of these things too. Actually the Subscribe/Joined button seemed to update almost "immediately" for communities on my local instance, but not for federated communities. The list only ever seemed to update after restarting the app.
Via the "three horizontal exclamation marks" button on the bottom action bar you can search globally for communities, not only ones you've subscribed, if that's what you mean.
If you mean full text search, idk if Lemmy even has that.
You can collapse threads with a long press on the comment header (the line with the username, score and timestamp).
The app could definitely use some documentation.
I read that they just ignore incoming downvotes, so on Beehaw you'd never see them, only locally on the instance where you voted.
