What's wrong with you? Are you OK hun?

My dreams have certainly changed, but they aren't smaller. My dreams now involve space travel to other galaxies and particle physics, which is different from what I dreamt of as a kid which was building a space elevator, drilling to the middle of the earth, and solving world poverty. Well, the last one was naively assuming that poverty was a natural result in a world of benevolent humans.

The universe is still infinite. Take a look at this "Timelapse of the future of the universe" and tell me it doesn't make you dream of how different our existence could be. Or this one about Egoistic Altruism.

Tell me what's a better option than going to a healthcare professional.

It sounds like you live in the USA, and I feel for you. It's not the same everywhere. Some countries actually have a more than semi-functional healthcare system.

Someone told me that countries are becoming "less moral" and I have no idea what to do with that opinion, because I don't know what it is they mean with "morals". So what do morals mean to you?

Maybe this isn't right, but I remember reading that most young boys 50 years ago dreamed about becoming astronomers, scientists, firefighters and policemen. Now young boys dream about becoming influencers, streamers, and rich personalities. Was Idiocracy written by a time-traveller? Are we working hard to make it a reality?

Wouldn't he be more comfortable in hell, if it existed? Heaven would be boring for him.

Zelensky... why are you doing this?

[โ€“] atro_city@fedia.io 1 points 1 week ago

Everybody's a racist, it's just to what degree. Just like everybody's a hypocrite.

[โ€“] atro_city@fedia.io 1 points 1 week ago

I can only hope that you are right.

The same vibes can lead to feeling on board with mass deportation.

Would the economy collapse or thrive? Would there be countries happy to accept the deportees? How would they even deport so many people?

Curious about your thoughts on the hypothetical.

I read an article from 2018 that they were owed millions and did not find anything else more recent. Have they been paid? What's the situation?

Posting the endgame results without marking it as NSFW or a spoiler is just rude.

We should use theseThese a spoiler sections where spoilers can be put into

It says "A passport for the internet", but I can't figure out what its selling point is. Is it for creators only? But how do users take advantage of other creators "vouching" for each other? And where is the monetisation thing? I'm a bit lost

It's clear that game developers are going to lobby this thing and hard. It can't be a "grassroots" movement anymore hoping on the support of some big names out of the kindness of their heart. It needs some "professionalisation". It can't just be "Ross and his invisible army will handle it" anymore.

  • a website with
    • a list of public names supporting the movement e.g "supported by these companies 'Game developer A', 'Game Developer B', 'Preservation Group A', 'Preservation Group B', 'X number of individuals from country A', 'Politician A', 'Politician B', yada yada yada"
    • the representatives of the movement (not just Ross, but those on the names of the initiatives and so on)
    • a "how do I get involved" section
      • ways to donate and where the money is going
      • how to join internally (a private forum or group)
      • material to spread if not on the inside like links, images, and videos
      • calls to action
      • whatever else you come up with
  • coordination and a game plan
    • who is doing what with whom and when
      • Member is talking Game Preservation company for sponsorship
      • Member is coordinating with community to have a protest in front of UK parliament on some date
      • Member is having a meeting with Members of Parliament to get support
      • and so on
    • a group of designers and artists making content for the movement
    • publicly available research to refute existing and possible claims made by lobbying groups and naysayers

Maybe organising watch parties for them would be great to show how many people care about "Stop Killing Games"

Share them here with how to contact them. It's possible that a larger voice will show that it's important.
