I’m just joking, friend.

Unfortunately this chart is misleading. There are two separate instances of roadway, these should be combined. This is a common issue with pie charts, data can be manipulated by splitting series in arbitrary ways. Simply relabeling the series “left lane” and “right lane” wouldn’t fix the problem because it’s an arbitrary distinction, both lanes are “road” in every way that matters (color, presumably). Combine the two roadway series, move the white line slice to one side or the other.

Nobody under 47 years old has even had a chance to vote for Bill. Nobody gives a shit about that guy.

This is a really unempathetic response. I know shit’s tough right now and there are a lot of fools out there, but I beg you to at least try to give the benefit of the doubt and try to think through why people might do the things they do, especially when it’s someone enduring a personal tragedy that’s being publicly scrutinized. Think about the poor old woman who had hot coffee spilled on her crotch at a drive through and endured agonizing disfiguring burns - McDonald’s ran a campaign to paint her as a scammer and opportunist when she had done nothing wrong at all.

Most people don’t intentionally endanger themselves or their loved ones and they are usually very deferential to authority, especially in medical settings. There’s nothing to indicate this was any more than a miscommunication involving a heavily blinged-out guy who did nothing wrong. The MRI folks didn’t think to brief him because he wasn’t in the danger zone. His wife called for help. Maybe a very observant doctor could have noticed the guy’s jewelry and gave him a warning. Maybe the wife could have recalled that her husband was wearing metal before calling for him. Maybe the doctors could have better screening procedures for people in the waiting area, or better procedures to control access to the MRI room. I can’t say based on the available information that anyone lacks self awareness or did anything obviously wrong here. Sometimes a lot of coincidences line up to make something terrible happen.

Of course I’m not happy with the status quo. I plan to vote in the primary for the candidate who best matches my own values. I don’t know who that is yet.

All I’m seeing in this thread is arguments why we shouldn’t vote for this person or that, and not a single person willing to say there’s a candidate good enough that they’d bother to vote. I just want a fucking example of what good enough is. I’d vote for AOC or Bernie despite their flaws, but I’d love to have even better candidates to choose from.

I agree. I’d just like to hear from the poster above if there’s a single politician that meets their standards, or are they just giving up and using this line of argumentation to justify their own lack of action.

I’m doing nothing of the sort. All I’m doing is asking you for an example of a candidate you think is worth voting for. Doesn’t need to be a democrat. Just anyone.

Default juice… so white grape? The juice they use to water down every other type of juice with a discernible flavor so they can still call it “100% juice”?

Fuck you I want to taste the guava. Fuck your fucking grapes.

What’s your plan for cleaning up the mess? Let me know how I can help!!

Great youtube analysis of the humanity intrinsic in art, and why AI slop will never qualify.

The new buttons for commenting and voting take up a whole bunch of space at the bottom of each comment. I think it would be more compact and readable if those buttons move up to the top of the comment.

The comment button could move right next to the three dot menu (or comment could become an option in the three dot menu).

The vote buttons could be combined with the vote counters already displayed (i.e. click the upvote arrow or upvote count to upvote the comment).

I can wear a dress to work and nobody criticizes me. I’d be really sad if I had to wear pants all the time, they’re just not as comfortable. Let’s normalize pretty dresses for dudes!

I framed my favorite birb art from the internet, here’s a photo of my little buddy checking it out. He looks rather unimpressed.
