Technically they haven't changed the terms, they were very up-front about the requirement for a PSN account. There's been a warning on the Steam page this whole time and it even tells you it's required the first time you open the game. The problem is that they didn't actually follow through on making it a real requirement for 3 months.

Edit: Psyonix isn't even a publisher
Vanguard is always running? More reason for me to never go back to League I guess.
I'm curious, where are those shortcuts?
Getting strong "our hands are tied" vibes from everything they say 😞
I want that flag

It was a shock the first time I got killed by a bug without a head. I thought I had killed it...
Must have installed the wrong Linux. I've heard from other comments around Lemmy that the best one is called Red Hannah Hat Montana Enterprise Linux or something like that 👍
I was pretty late to the party tbh (the TCS had been deployed right before I started playing), so maybe the option to skip account linking had already been removed at that point? Either that or I was distracted while going through the first time launch.
I've apparently had a PlayStation account for years and didn't even remember, so at least I can confidently say they don't spam my inbox.
Do you need an Epic account to play if you already have it through Steam?
