I'm not justifying anyone suffering.

I'm educating adults on the difference between needs and wants because they have the vocabulary of a pre-schooler.

Apparently the reading comprehension, too. Lol.

It's easier to fool a man than to convince him he'd been fooled.

Funny watching people like you get so proud about being taken advantage of.

between why breaks are necessary but vacations shouldn’t be?

One is literally necessary for survival while the other isn't. This is the difference between a 'need' and a 'want.'

Is increased well-being not necessary in your worldview?

Considering how many people are able to live a significantly lower quality of life than what you're advocating for, no. It's not a 'need.' It's a 'want.' There's no limit to 'increased well being.' There is a limit to what the human body can take before it can no longer go on living.

Might want to brush up on your vocabulary. This is a pretty simple concept that even 2nd graders have no problem understanding.

The problem is its centralized nature. As a business, it's going to do what businesses do and get people hooked, then slowly enshittify their products/services until a competitor takes over.

What are you talking about?

Try to avoid playing leap-frog with yourself and just say your stance in a direct manner.

Starting off with 'imagine' just tells me you're smug, but not correct.

Yeah, I have a strong feeling a lot of terrible decisions like these are made by rich kids who paid their way through school and whose family connections got them a job they shouldn't be doing.
