Electoral votes, not people votes. If you don't know how that works, here's the Wikipedia page.

It's not misleading, that's how the electoral college works lmao. 49% of votes could go to the second-place candidate and the first-place candidate could still win every single electoral vote. The system doesn't care about people's votes, only the electoral votes matter for presidential elections. The map shows exactly what it claims to show.

Remember that the electoral college is not a direct vote. As long as there are more votes in a particular state for Candidate A over Candidate B, A will get all of that state's votes. If this happens in every state, then A gets the entire nation's votes without any representation of anyone who voted differently.

Also remember that anecdotal evidence is irrelevant on the scale we're talking about.

You realize you're supposed to wash your produce when you get home, right? There's still pesticides on there.

Can't have political statements in the place where we do politics.

Minimum services, not minimum wage.

Guarantee food, housing, healthcare, transport, etc to every person first. Then we can talk wages.

Everything you wrote is nonsense. Pointing at a process that often occurs - evolution - and then working backwards to claim that organisms must feel pain when they don't reproduce is completely antilogical. Evolution may be caused by feelings of pain or suffering when otganisms don't reproduce, or it could be something completely different. You are putting the effect before the cause.

Trying to do evolutionary psychoanalysis on something as cognitively complex as a human is practically guaranteed to give you wrong conclusions. What's more, this sort of bullshit is part and parcel of a lot of bioessentialist rhetoric, so if I were you I would definitely consider revaluating a few things.

Link leads to 'page not found'. Reddit censoring shit again.

Only articles I could find about it are here and here.

Fair enough. I didn't think about that.
