I know, its going to get worse. But i figured ill try to enjoy this platform as much as i can while this is still the case. I do hope that they manage to get on top of the bots, somehow

For some reason, Piefed reminds me of the forums that still were very active like +10 years ago and thats what i like most about this place

Yeah thought so. Its interesting how they put a buddy of trump, real estate developer, whatever that actually means and put him in charge of negotiating the fate of Ukraine/russia, israel/Palestine and i guess now usa/iran.

Dude seems to have absolutely no experience or competence in anything else but taking and giving bribes :D

What do you think about witkoff?

They are certainly worse. Its a ladder to the top where every single step makes the numbers look better so they wont upset their superiors.

Corruption + fear of punishment = lying like a motherhecker

Well i think piefed is a nice example of this - its nice to be here as before, when I used reddit and had an account, if i wanted to get into the conversation I had to be among the 1st commenters to be seen at all. Idk if its filled with bots or just so many people, but its really nice to be among the few and not the many

I went to see bluesky when people started boycotting social medias and it seemed to be full of bot posts instantly

My recommendation is that everyone should simply delete their social media accounts. If it turns out to be too much, they usually have like 1 - 2 months (wtf even is up with that) period, where the account gets restored if you log back in.

There is no need (and to be honest, no one even cares) to share whatever you are sharing in whatever platform you are in

I promise it you will feel a lot better

I deleted linkedin a while back, which was the only real social media i had left. Haven't regretted and havent made another profile anywhere. Its good to support european, but I recommend simply leaving all platforms

1st of all, if i would use cloud services for my photos/videos, i wouldn't and just get sd cards so I would actually have every single one on me physically. When one fills up, get another one and archive the last one with from - to dates

But my question is, what alternatives for files on the phone? My Nokia uses google photos / files and id like to change it. If possible an app that has nothing to do with internet
