You know who never had to "take responsibility for cleaning up the public relations mess" created by their crime boss raping little kids? The press secretary for every other President in US history!

You can do this, too, you're almost there! Guess what happens when more people take a stand against this kind of thing?

The most important lesson is "Do not obey in advance". CBS has indicated that they're willing to do so, making it more likely that other companies and people will also decide to go along. By pushing back, we lend courage to others to also stand up.

This protest isn't about the Republicans; it's about being visible.

I think the point is to put some pressure on CBS, not the Republicans.

Excuse me, how does "Covid-19 Fraud" and "Document and Benefit Fraud" come under the purview of Immigration and Customs Enforcement? The others I could see some vague argument for, but those two just show how far out of their lane they're getting.

I bet "Document and Benefit Fraud" is what they use to get all the Medicaid info. Fuckers.

Maybe he thought it was real gold, which would've been safe?

I had the same reaction and I just poked at their YouTube channel. They have cameras for side, front and rear view, and they had a Sheriff check the entire build for safety and compliance. I'm not sure how safe it is overall, but it's safer than it looks.

Apparently it's on its way to an airshow in Oshkosh.

I found a NY Times article, which starts out:

A man who entered an M.R.I. room during a scan in Westbury, N.Y., on Wednesday was pulled into the machine by his chain necklace and was hospitalized in critical condition, the authorities said.

The man, who is 61, was wearing a “large metallic chain” around his neck when he entered the room at Nassau Open MRI around 4:34 p.m., according to the Nassau County Police Department, on Long Island. The man, whom the police did not name, did not have authorization to enter the room, the authorities said.

That just gives money to Musk and other (complicit) shareholders. I'd much rather the company sink and then someone buy their stuff at fire sale prices.

No one's forcing them to do anything. They could refuse, change departments, get another job, etc.

Just curious: If you listen to the playlist, which one (or which combination) comes closest?

I'm envisioning this as a person with synesthesia, and sounds produce smells for them, and they're searching for the elusive sound that produces petrichor.
