To be fair, Kerr County / Kerrville apparently also didn't do much themselves to prepare for flooding.
Do you have something to back up the MAGA claim? The things I know about him are that he was a Philly firefighter for 20 years, then was assigned to FEMA's Urban Search and Rescue Team, served there for ten years, and became it's head last year (before Trump). I haven't seen anything about his politics.

Oh, cool - thank you so much for your thoughts and experiences! I just gave that one a listen: I didn't smell anything, not I got some interesting mental visuals and sensations: being in a tent in the rain, someone spinning/dancing very briefly, rain falling into puddles, a drop falling into a puddle and the slow-motion of spin-off drops arcing away. It was definitely less immersive once the vocals kicked it, but it was cool nonetheless. Thank you so much for getting back to us!

The House is working on wording to call for the release of all "credible" Epstein allegations. Of course, then they'll get to decide exactly which allegations are "credible" ...
You know who never had to "take responsibility for cleaning up the public relations mess" created by their crime boss raping little kids? The press secretary for every other President in US history!
You can do this, too, you're almost there! Guess what happens when more people take a stand against this kind of thing?
The most important lesson is "Do not obey in advance". CBS has indicated that they're willing to do so, making it more likely that other companies and people will also decide to go along. By pushing back, we lend courage to others to also stand up.
This protest isn't about the Republicans; it's about being visible.
I think the point is to put some pressure on CBS, not the Republicans.
