The Pope is giving a virtual address in his hometown of Chicago at the same time as the parade. I don't doubt the Pope will get bigger numbers.

A chance of showers before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2pm and 5pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

That doesn't sound too bad, especially since he'll likely be under a cover of some kind. I wonder if something else is up.

Ah, Mr Thin-Skin strikes again ....

And he'll vote for them again because he supports them and thinks "they just did it the wrong way". Dude, this is exactly the way they were always going to do it, but you never listen to the other side because they're "woke". And by the time you wake up, it'll be too late for all of us. Not just the fascist USA, by the way, because corporations and their enablers now have free reign to deny science and avoid action until the rest of humanity is dying in a cataclysmic hellscape. But I'm glad you were able to avoid seeing a couple of people holding hands, I'm glad all this was worth it to you.

Does the bill still have that clause that says judges are no longer allowed to try to limit the executive branch? Because that's the clause we should be campaigning against.

I have no idea who Bo Loudon is, and I believe my life is richer for it.

No idea. He entered on an Italian passport (he has dual Italian-Senegalese citizenship, and they referred to him as "Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy" in a press release), so he should have up to 90 days in the US without a problem.

He was on like day 30 of a 90-day visa and was heading to his scheduled flight out of the country. Afaik, they had no reason to pick him up, they just like sitting around in the air conditioning to pick people up at airports and courthouses instead of chasing them across fields or something more exercise-y like that.

Funny how every time there are more people against them than they'd like, suddenly everyone showing up was either "bussed in" or was "paid to be there" - anything to delegitimize the numbers.

You're forgetting the male incel epidemic, including the ones who legitimately want the government to issue them a girlfriend. I'm sure some of them feel that the only reason they didn't have a girlfriend is that "their girlfriend" mistakenly believes she's gay or was "taken" by a lesbian. Similar to that guy who was like "I'm sure the reason I don't have a girlfriend is that the one who was destined to be mine got aborted by some 'liberated' woman".
