No one's forcing them to do anything. They could refuse, change departments, get another job, etc.

Just curious: If you listen to the playlist, which one (or which combination) comes closest?

I'm envisioning this as a person with synesthesia, and sounds produce smells for them, and they're searching for the elusive sound that produces petrichor.

“It’s broken and deviated from its original purpose, which is to temporarily help Americans in need,” Turner said. “HUD assistance is not supposed to be permanent.”

If you fuckers had kept the minimum wage in line with inflation, we wouldn't have so many people on long-term assistance. Instead, you keep the minimum wage the same as it was 40(?) years ago, allow massive corporations to onboard people with the explicit instruction, "We're not going to pay you enough, here's how to apply for food stamps and other benefits", then act surprised when people have to use public benefits to survive.

ICE 'morale in crapper' as agents forced to 'arrest gardeners'

Like, no one's forcing them to do anything. They could refuse orders, get a transfer, get another job, etc.

When I looked into it a couple weeks ago, most (?all) of Alberta infections were also among the unvaccinated Mennonites. In Texas and New Mexico, it spread between different unvaccinated Mennonite communities through meetings for worship and homeschooling, then spread fractionally among those who had contact with the infected Mennonite communities. I imagine the spread pattern is similar in Alberta and Ontario.

Their measles information page is here. The data seems complete, just not as nicely compiled as it used to be. [Their respiratory illnesses page is here.]

Going to the actual poll:

Two-thirds of Americans — including 82% of Democrats, 69% of Independents, and 50% of Republicans — think the government is currently covering up evidence it has about Epstein

Another YouGov survey conducted last week found that 40% of Americans — including 69% of Democrats but only 7% of Republicans — think that Trump was personally involved in crimes allegedly committed by Epstein

Tbf, Ron had a lot more leeway (and resources) with his family than Harry did.

It was interesting to me that there are more people (7000) in territorial prisons than in Indian Country (2000), though I guess that's a reflection of how many have left the rez. I'd be curious about a state breakdown, per capita, of the local jails and state prisons.

It was an eleven hour video run at 101%, not just three minutes. You can read about it here.
