Is there a way of following her from Lemmy?

[–] anytimesoon@feddit.uk 9 points 1 month ago

You guys are getting updates?

[–] anytimesoon@feddit.uk 2 points 1 month ago

Exactly that.

I put about double the mount of ice to coffee, then steam. Mostly stretching, until I can hear the ice is mostly melted.

Dont let the drink get warm, its meant to be cold.

I'll then serve in a chilled glass and with more ice.

Basically a shakerato, but the machine does the shaking for you

Haha, no worries man. It's just a light hearted conversation.

I'll meet you half way and say that even though I enjoy his movies, I don't think I'd like hanging out with him

🤷‍♂️ guess I'm nobody

Do you know if they ever ended up making any of these? I'm struggling to really understand "non-adhesive adherence" as well as other parts of that abstract

They're usually soggy, actually

...until a democrat is in charge

This is a good idea. I think one risk, though is that the specialist companies that hold all the personal data then become massive targets and a single breach would be catastrophic.

Still better than the way things currently are, though.

I've heard this said many times, and I'm sure there's truth to it. Raw meat needs to be treated carefully because the risk exists.

I'm not sure the risk is as severe as this comment suggests, though since many cultures have a version of raw minced beef like this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steak_tartare

In my experience, this is a sign that the solenoid has something inside it. Your best bet is to take it apart and do a full descale.

This video takes you through the whole process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9i-EH7qXOc

It's not as big a task as it might seem, and it will definitely get everything flowing again

And probably most Europeans. I had no idea about this until just now

The pump on my 1999 classic just stopped working between coffees yesterday. I brewed one coffee fine, and when I tried doing a second, the pump wouldn't start. It still makes a click sound when the pump switch is pressed, so the solenoid still works. There's definitely power to the machine because the pid lights up. So I have a couple questions.

Firstly, is there anything I missed in my diagnosis? Maybe there's something obvious to look for when opening the machine...

Secondly, if the pump is broken, is it simple to replace with something like the one in the link? My particular model is quite old, so maybe they don't make compatible pumps anymore
