I'm rounding off the year with The Last of Us Part I and so far it lives up to my expectations (and even more).

I've also been playing some PSVR2 recently, I recently completed Moss and just started RE: Village (and it seems I've almost got my "VR legs", I wasn't really feeling nauseated after the first session).

That seems to be it! I was completely unaware of the differences between what lenses PSVR2 uses and what's generally used elsewhere, but after looking into it that seems to be one of the main drawbacks of the headset once you get past reviewers generally hyping it up, oh well. That and the Mura effect, of course, but I noticed that one relatively quickly and realized that I couldn't really get rid of it, unfortunately.

I guess I've got it setup as well as I can conceivably get it then and it's indeed not that bad after a few hours. Thanks!

That was on Logitech's website and after adding it to the cart, no idea about Amazon.
It might not look the part, but I'm talking from experience and it was just a notch below the Deck's ergonomics tbh.
I think that's debatable, as many still prefer the Xbox controller design and layout, but I'm biased towards the Dual Sense (as well?), sure.
And please, for the love of every other real handheld that came before it, don't abbreviate it as PSP...

I think the Logitech G Cloud would fit in that category, when on sale (otherwise it's $350 USD, so at that point you might as well get the 64G Deck).
Afaict it's $250 USD with a promo code now and since it's basically a tweaked Android ROM, you can stream Game pass, your PS4/PS5 (via PS Play) or Geforce Now and even do some light emulation (up to DC just fine).
Ergonomics and screen are pretty great from what I recall, after testing one a few months ago.

Protondb reports is the only "surefire" way I've found tbh, since this is the kind of detail that gets included.

Tough one. I care a lot about game preservation, so I naturally tend to gravitate towards GOG, however I've had trouble getting a few too many games running, while the Steam versions "just work" (with the same version of Proton, etc).
I really tend to make sure that I'm not going to have any issues with the GOG version before buying it nowadays, otherwise I'll get the Steam version.

From everdrivestore.com, "What is an Everdrive?":

An Everdrive is a flash cartridge that allows you to play games on your console. The cartridge is easy to use. You “drag and drop” files from your computer onto a * micro SD card that you insert into the Everdrive. When you turn on your console, a list of games will appear. With your controller, you select the title, and you're done!

512 OLED ordered 22 mins after launch in Canada, it was shipped (still label created when tracking with FedEx) about an hour ago now.

Nice, full game on 2 discs, I'll cancel my Play-Asia preorder to get this one instead! Shipping is unfortunately a bit steep at $20 USD.

I've already pre-ordered my copy from Play-Asia, so unless the game is fully on disc this time (possibly two discs) or cheaper than it was there, I'll probably keep waiting for my JP copy to arrive, but I'm really glad they decided to make a physical version outside of Japan!

I've been chipping away at Tales of Arise, I like it, although I feel like the slightly over the top anime nature of the game might wear on me at some point, we'll see.

I'm somewhat interested in the Explore headset, assuming comfort is (much) better than the Audeze Maxwell it should (hopefully) closely resemble sound-wise.
I would have liked a console agnostic headset though, but I can't blame Sony for that.

Most of the Ratchet and Clank games are great.
Given how Konami did such a poor job with the MGS Collection Vol 1, MGS 4 is probably still safe on PS3 (and the Legacy Collection is great if you've never played MGS games before, but it's getting really pricey nowadays).
In terms of "hidden" gems, Puppeteer and 3D Dot Game Heroes are at the top of my list, but those can be pricey as well.
