I think we’ll have to

Smashing shit up in the backyard is very therapeutic, too. Or, at least, some heavy-duty gardening, and you get a bonus full green bin

Yeah, I’m a bit keen on a dog and it would be nice getting out for more walks. It would be left alone a bit with us going to work though, and cats are more self-sufficient. So hard to choose!

Just back from a lovely walk with my kid. We got to pat 2 very friendly cats, one of which climbed into his lap when he sat down to get closer to it. The other one was called Bruce.

It’s reignited the β€˜should we get another pet’ conversation, but can’t decide cat vs dog

Ooh, he’s pissed off

I’m so sorry; this is such a hard thing to go through. Further to what Thornbury witch suggested, it can be helpful to visit around mealtimes or when things need to be done. One time my mum was in hospital, I tried to visit regularly to help with her meals, etc., as the staff were run off their feet. It also means you can keep on top of what treatment is happening and help provide medical info to the staff, too

Such a good feeling, getting stuff done

I’m having a slight pause with a fake beer and some breadsticks, before heading to a work event. Driving, so no real beersies for me

sigh

Not β€˜boozy’ - champagne brunch, like at the races

but maybe with the type of β€˜champagne’ made with hops

I can’t tell if Rosie looks angry or alarmed
