Itโ€™s such a difficult situation to be in, and I really sympathise. It must be so hard for your mum dealing with these changes, and for you trying to help her.

Can you subtly suggest the how good Uber (or whatever car system that might work) is? No parking issues, cheaper overall costs, etc.

I remember how hard it was to get my mum to stop driving, and she wasnโ€™t great at it even before age-related decline.

I think youโ€™ve got the cat of approval

You could probably cover the scuffs with some permanent marker or paint (even nail polish, if they make it in that colour)

I once heard of someone collecting the shed cicada shells and spray painting them gold, to use as Xmas decorations. Should you want something a little different at this time of year

Iโ€™ve had some success with taping those silver car window screen things to west-facing windows. Its unsightly but does block the heat

Theyโ€™re not cheap, are they?! I just thought you meant they could be scanned like a credit card (hence the rfid thingo), and the data be stolen or something.

Last time I went overseas mine was just a book, lol

You do realise the cat will starve should the bowl get to only 90% full?

Itโ€™ll be okโ€ฆ Iโ€™m sure you can catch up, and one missed class wonโ€™t be a problem. If you want to you could email the lecturer and just ask if thereโ€™s anything you need to do

Probably a dumb question, but is it risky carrying them without the sleeve? I havenโ€™t travelled with my new fancy hologram one yet
