Umm… is there a Paddington Xmas movie? That could be 00’s

I wanna say ‘it’s a wonderful life’ but that’s way out, lol

My kid said that’s a Xmas movie… we’ll have to watch it tomorrow

Erm, home alone?

Love actually, and one of the griswald movies?

I’ve done this, too. Wanted a fresh start and to mark the work year being over. And the house was trashed so definitely needed it

What a lovely memory - your mum sounds like a wonderful person

I’m up for any motivation you can provide, lol (says the person who’s just had a wine to help deal with the dusting & chores)

And my kid’s also starting vce so I should add that one, too

Great goals, and do-able!

I think mine are:

  1. Develop an exercise habit of some sort. Anything, really, even just regular walking. I used to do heaps of incidental exercise (like riding my bike to work) but now I don’t, and I really need to do something to help with stress management
  2. Start to investigate other jobs. I’m lucky that I have a good job and work with (mostly) great people, but I’m pretty burnt out. But also nervous about change and not sure my skills are transferable.
Saying ‘investigate’ makes it seem less scary, lol
