I refuse this too,but i explained current trend and we will not able to do anything about it without law.
Unfortunately it's concept which were in the past.Nowdays u are not owning ur device,you are actually just renting it. Unless new laws are passed that will prohibit such a business model.
Agree about manjaro they doing really weird things about their system and it's breaking.

It's able work completly in ram without need downloading whole files on disk.
I think it can be good attempt to reimplement it and make it work stable and normal.My hesdphones sometimes randomly dropping connection and need to restart bluez to make them connect again.Also have to say about audio profiles for bluetooth headphones. While A2DP can deliver can good high quality sound but cannot work in duplex mode and can noy record ur headphones microphone and it would be nice if u share link for ur git :)

Depends from application,some apps like whatsapp or viber will tell that they wanna google play service but u can skip this pop up and keep using application but some apps like official chatgpt app will not work at all.
