Clearly you don't understand my first sentence - you can argue that TX is purple, but the results show that not to be the case.
I wish we weren't up against all the things you list that keep TX from being properly represented. But I also have some skepticism, because I think a lot of these things grow from local governance. Were are the blue towns?
