Yeah, git without LFS isn't optimal for non-text files.
For sure. Systemd, and k8s are the target deployments, not some third place like docker compose seems to like
Yeah, compose for simple testing, then use podman convert it to k8s manifests and clean up from there for production, seems like a reasonable devx.
Gnome does make it feel like I should have like 3 apps open and anything more is a mental burden. I personally really like the overview though! If I could get gnomes overview as my meta key in KDE it would be killer!
