Hype! I love full weekend paper events and Worlds the most, so great to have on the TV all weekend.

Always rooting for Reid Duke and my favorite players from way back, Gabriel Nassif and Kai Budde.

Still seems to be down, their status page had previously said it was available again but it looks like they took it back offline due to instability: https://magicthegatheringarena.statuspage.io/

Unbelievably sad 😞 He contributed so so much to EDH and Magic in general, perhaps more than anyone else aside from MaRo/Garfield considering how impactful the format is. Dealt with a constant stream of criticism too despite all that.

Stupid cancer. I'll be thinking of him and his family, hope they find peace.

Awesome pulls! So happy for you and I hope all is good on the personal side. Thanks for sharing!

You can earn up to 4,000 XP this September by playing in Magic events at Wizards Play Network (WPN) game stores using your Wizards Account to register! Play in events like the Wilds of Eldraine Prerelease, Open House, Friday Night Magic events, and others!

For each WPN game store event you play in, you'll earn 1,000 XP, up to a maximum of 4,000 XP if you play in four events.

This is awesome as an initial connection between Arena and paper, something I've wanted for a long time. XP seems kinda lame though, and particularly stingy with only 1,000 XP per event... Packs or wild cards would've been way nicer. Still a great sign that they're moving in this direction.

It's wild to me that Bitterblossom is still a $20 card. Seems like every reprinting it goes up a bit then settles back down to this $20 mark. Sadly the special treatments probably aren't enough new copies to affect it much.

Yeah I see what you mean completely, content is still slow here and will be for a while as we grow, so that makes sense.

I subscribe to every community for that reason (even though content is even thinner there) and would absolutely do the same spoilers toggle periodically. I'm posting most of them so it doesn't really matter currently for me 😜

Ah I didn't realize people did this! I think the best approach would be to view the "Subscribed" homepage and not the "Local" homepage, then you won't need to block communities. You could then subscribe to Spoilers during spoiler season(s) (and unsubscribe after) or just go to that community page whenever you want to check them.

You can make this your default in the user settings page, there's a button group labeled "Type" where you can select the default. Does this solve the problem?

These are great! I haven't seen them but I like that the lid comes completely off. This might be it.

This is awesome, thanks for the share. I just used this to find Reckless Impulse, I remembered Wrenn's Resolve but couldn't remember the earlier one! Will be using this for sure down the line.

Curiously, as another test [[Thran Dynamo]] pulls up [[Ancient Den]] first and then [[Azorius Signet]]. I would've expected [[Worn Powerstone]] and similar straight up colorless rocks first. It's even worse at MTGAssist though, which shows [[Geode Golem]] (??), [[Sol Grail]], and [[Honor-Worn Shaku]] (???) first.

Questing Druid is just a straight upgrade over [[Quirion Dryad]] with just a bonus [[Reckless Impulse]] stapled to it!

These leaks so far are getting me excited for RUG adventure, hopefully getting some very nice additions for a commander deck I'm been trying to build there. Beluna Grandsquall is the obvious commander now but looking forward to perhaps some others.
