@SUPERcrazy3530 @peppy Completely agree. If they disconnect later we are just back where we are now - so literally no loss. Only win by connecting

@alertsleeper That makes sense. I don't think it will though. Lemmy is (in comparison to Mastodon and others) more restricted. With a Lemmy profile you can't see posts which aren't part of a Lemmy community.. so as long as Threads users don't make a lot of posts in Lemmy communities you won't see their content.

I don't think you have anything to worry about there.

@alertsleeper I use Friendica, but I don't hate Mastodon, Calckey or Lemmy users.

For that same reason I don't hate Threads users.
It's up to each individual user which platform they want to use.

Just my opinion.

It is, indeed :) when you spend lots of time with the console. just needed to make the "cointop" command run the "flatpak run ..." command to make it more easily available from the console.

Also it has a better overview and is much more lightweight when it's a console app.

@winnie
It shouldn't matter. Mastodon users should get notified when you reply to their post even though they aren't tagged in it.

At least that's the case for me on Friendica but I remember the same behaviour from back when I used Mastodon.

@BuboScandiacus Hm. As far as I know it's not Fedora which is based on RHEL but rather RHEL which is based on Fedora?
