I would go with an Ender 3 variant as they are very popular and community support for them will be plentiful. Also, spare parts will be easy to get. Then once you get past the beginner stage you can spring for a P1P or Prusa.

For white noise I don't think you can do any better than a physical device. I really like the Dohm white noise machines by Yogasleep.

Maybe see if your printer make/model has a group on Facebook and see if anyone in there would be interested? or Facebook Marketplace?
I have problems with the import from Apollo feature where it freezes on the list after I pick a subreddit and then go back to the list. Anyone else have that problem?
Inland recently started using cardboard spools as well.
