This is first time I'm using NRC (Nike Run Club) app with apple watch.

What I observed is that in fitness app, I only get data about heart rate, pace and nothing else. I've used Runna in the past and it gives me elevation, heart rage, pace, power, cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time and stride length.

Initially I thought that's because NRC is free and hence not collecting this data, but my NRC is also connected to Strava, and I can see elevation and cadence in Strava app.

So how come the data was collected, but not visible in fitness app?

Thanks in advance!

Am I missing something here? I just tap and hold on watch face and swipe left/right to choose another watch face.

I don't see what exactly is missing here.

Looks like yes. I've noticed the same. In fact, hyperlinks etc. are also green - the only place blue color remains now is blue ticks (after message is read).

That green shade is bit tacky - should've been a bit subdued. And it looks much worse with dark mode.

I have screen protector and case (AWU2). It makes already bulky watch even bulkier but I’ll settle with bad looks rather than scratches. And I’ve bumped it quite a few times.

Same for me. If I wake up, it still shows it as core sleep.

Further, my sleep tracking ends with sleep profile - e.g. if my profile ends at 5:30 AM and I wake up at 8:30 AM then it shows I slept only till 5:30 AM.

Worse part is, the data between 5:30 AM and 8:30 AM is stored with Apple, but visible only with 3rd party apps.

Is there any way to track sleep automatically based on physical activity? That is - if I'm sleeping, regardless of sleep prfile.

I'm asking because watch tracks my sleep correctly, but only if it is within sleep focus. E.g. over the weekend:

  • It didn't track my afternoon nap (because sleep profile was not on)
  • I overslept, but sleep data ends right when sleep profile schedule ends - this translates to incorrect sleep data. I slept at 1:30 and woke up after 8, but sleep data shows only 1:30 till 5:30 because sleep focus profile schedule ends at 5:30. So according to apple watch I only slept for 4 hours which is totally incorrect (and this incorrect data will be used in weekly/monthly averages).

Thanks in advance!

I'm running developer beta on iPhone and Apple Watch. Not facing any issues.

In fact my experience has been that issues are pretty quickly fixed on developer beta versions and those versions are quite well tested and not that unstable (in fact I don't recall last time I had any issue because of beta version).

One thing you lose (that I'm aware of) is capacity to write reviews on app store. It is allowed only if you are running stable ios version.

Do we have Apple Watch face with only hour and minute hand?

I like minimalist color faces without digits and only hour, minute and second hands.

Can I get rid of second hand? I only want hour and minute hands. Or how do I achieve this?

Thanks in advance.
